Container plants dry out far faster than anything planted in the ground. Many annuals in a full-sun planter need water every single day through a Michigan summer. Hand watering takes time, it is hard to keep consistent, and a quick pass with the hose usually wets the leaves and the sidewalk instead of soaking the root zone.

Irrigation is built into the Ultimate tier of our planter subscriptions, and you can add it to a Basic or Enhanced subscription at any time. We also install stand-alone systems for people who are not subscribers: a one-time installation, with annual maintenance if you want us to keep an eye on it.
Watering is only half of keeping a planter beautiful. A system handles hydration. Deadheading, fertilizing, pruning, and catching insects early still take hands, which is what our bi-weekly maintenance visits are for. Most clients who add irrigation add maintenance alongside it.
Irrigation is for living planters. If what you want is a one-time installed display instead, a fall pumpkin porch or Christmas greenery at the front door, that is seasonal decor.
