ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Detroit Style Planter Company is a first-of-its-kind seasonal planter subscription service launching in Oakland County, and we are building a team of local specialists to install and maintain beautiful planter arrangements for homes and businesses in the area's most desirable neighborhoods. This is an independent contractor (1099) position with flexible hours, performance-based pay, and real earning potential that grows as your client base grows.
This is a ground-floor opportunity with a brand-new local business. The more customers in your area, the more you earn, and as the company grows, so does your territory and income.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Install professionally designed seasonal planter arrangements at customer homes and businesses
- Perform regular maintenance visits to keep planters looking their best throughout the season
- Represent Detroit Style Planter Company professionally at every customer location
- Share your work on social media to help build brand awareness in your community (encouraged, not required)
- Work independently on a flexible schedule that fits your life

- All tools and supplies needed for installations and maintenance

HOW PAY WORKS
Based on size and complexity, paid per job completed.
Of all maintenance fees collected from customers you service.
Your earning potential increases as more subscribers are added in your area.
Example: 10 installations in a day at an average of $25 = $250. Plus 50% of ongoing maintenance fees from your growing customer base.
REQUIREMENTS
- Live in or near our service area: Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills, West Bloomfield, or Rochester Hills
- Reliable personal vehicle and valid Michigan driver’s license
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- Own a smart phone that you are willing to load the company’s user-friendly operations app
- Reliable, professional, and comfortable working independently at customer locations
- Active on social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok preferred) — a plus, not a requirement
THIS ROLE IS A GREAT FIT IF YOU ARE
SEASON & SCHEDULE
- Working season: mid-March through mid-December
- Hours and days are fully flexible — work around your existing commitments
- Position does not include January and February
